Online RN-BSN. There is little to no information regarding online experience with these schools. Please post yours, especially the clinicals -- were you required to videotape?

I looked into doing the online program at Utica College and I changed my mind when I seen that it's $900/credit hour. I'll be going to Suny-IT which is also nearby for about $200/credit hour....they don't have an online BSN program but $900 is crazy!

There is no such thing as SUNY Adelphi. The Adelphi University in Garden City, NY is a private institution - which is apparent by the 26,000 a year tuition. Perhaps you are confusing this with SUNY Delhi?
To CrunchyMama... their online RN-BSN is 335/credit

To premedwoahs... Thank you!:nuke: Yes, you're right -- I meant SUNY-Delhi.
No problem, that's why I am here

Oops my bad, lol. I read it wrong. Thanks for clearing it up. But still...too expensive IMO. :)

I don't *think* there's any videotaping, which is why I quit Excelsior. I am not a producer! I'll be going with Chamberlain.
All of the schools listed are good schools. I am nearest to Plattsburgh and wasn't aware that they had an on-line program. I would look into SUNY Stony Brook. The best of them all, and Empire STate College also has an online program with preference given to NYS residents.
I know, right? :)

Good luck on your journey to Chamberlain.
I looked into Stony Brook curriculum, but a little concern about the clinical practice portfolio.
I don't think I could take the risk...

When I had looked into online RN to BSN programs, I discovered that SUNY Empire State College's program is not accredited. I had considered it until I found this out. I will be attending Utica College this May and so far I'm very happy with the admissions process. We'll see how the coursework and program is.
