if that's not possible........

could you at least share.... your review tips/techniques....?

what did you do when you feel so bored and sleepy..?

do you scream?!!!!

do you dance?!!!!

do you just sleep and give in?

did you do study groups?

do you study alone?

oh.......please tell me.......anything!!!

thank you guyzzzz........:wink2:

Hello!!! i was also a second courser when i took up Nursing and with the help of the Lord, i was able to pass the December 2005 Philippine Board Exam. REview Centers make no difference.... i mean they are just there to help or to guide us on how we shall treat every question in the board exam... of course they will teach us how to memorize concepts and apply those concepts in exams... but at the end of the day, it is us, examinees, and our resolved to pass will make us NURSES.

I have been to 3 review centers before taking the Board exam last december and i noticed that they are all the same. All it gave me was confidence, which i dont have when i graduated from my school. Gapuz pentagon or RUN.... they are all OK, but do not rely on them, rely more on developing your own study habits... this counts a lot....

DOH, yes it matters....

Try also Carl Balita's Nursing Review.... this is a good aterial in the last two weeks before the exam.....

LASTLY, PRAY AND ASK THE LORD TO GUIDE YOU....

hope this will help you guys and goodluck!!!!!!!!!

Hi! Which one do you prefer Gapuz, Pentagon or URC? Or which for you is the Best with regards to reviewers or instructors?

Specializes in ER (future assignment).

Review University for Nurses is good, they have good reviewers though they never have entertainment like Penta and Gapuz.... pero mura...

it is located at PUP Building along Ramon Magsaysay BLVD... pagbaba ng nagtahan flyover...

pero kung willing kang magbayad ng mahal... Penta ka na lang

I am nurse working in one of the hospitals here.I plan to take my NCLEX exam. There is a group here who is convincing me to enrol in their review

center which is using the ERI approach to NCLEX review which is basically

online review. They guarantee passing the exam because you can review

again should you fail the NCLEX exam. What is your assessment of ERI?Are

they really good as they claimed they are? They claimed their track record

as far as passing NCLEX is very high.Is online review advisable? What are the

disadvantages of an online review?Lastly they charge approximately $400 for a 56 hour online review. Is this expensive?

Thanks! but our school here in Bacolod was in house with gapuz, our review starts last January 5 to March 31, some of the instructor were good but some are mayabang. So what about Univeral Review Center?

I've called pentagon but there slot was 3-9pm, cuz I was staying at my uncle house at Katipunan, in Quezon city. Malayo ba yang sa Pentagon? Saan ang mas malapit Pentagon or Gapuz or URC?

Thanks so much!

Sia's reviewer helped me a lot in passing the board exam..specifically psych! Goodluck to you..

hi all am still present my paper to ca 2 accept me 4 the exam and im studing on skyscape programs omar

you know you can never be sure whether you'll pass or fail right? there's always 50% chance if you take it this june or december... there's no guarantee that delaying it will make you pass.. and if "i hope not" you don't you'll just delay it pag december pa. delay only if you don't intend to study now... but then again... if your not gonna prioritze studying now kelan pa diba? You have time pa naman. maximize and prioritize the four months.... manage your time well. Remember psych and chd to the max... discipline is hard... it was tough for me that's why I had to ask the Lord to help me bulid that character... :) God be with you as you study..

hey thanks for this.. i was really praying for a sign when will i really take the local board. i am graduating this march, hopefully. i consulted all the people concerned for my studies, and they all really want me to take it on june. im not quite decided yet because im really not that confident. your post saved me. :p thanks again.

URC is great. okay tips tips:

have a study plan/ sked

read and take sample tests---finish your dailies!

after you're done reading, you can now do study groups (pick the people coz you don't want to be chatting precious time away)

get a lot of sleep (my prof said Glutaphos isn't actually a memory-enhancer, but a sleep regulator. the more you sleep, the more your brain cells are

taken care of)

good luck!

hello.. may i know what is URC? thanks!:smilecoffeeIlovecof

good question! universal review center

i think URC only caters review for international examinations like nclex and CG.

Hello! I am a fresh graduate and ill be taking the exam this Dec. I have started reading nsg books and i seemed to find it difficult concentrating in one area. After reading one book I jumped to another book without finishing the former. Our clinical insructor also told us that it is not wise to read nclex book because local board are far more different than the nclex exams. Does this make sense?
