hi... also have the same problem as yours... :) do u have an agency now?haev you already filed for the visa screen?

I'm moving this thread to the International Nursing forum -- that is where we try to keep all posts related to immigration and licensure/practice in another country, as noted in the banner at the top of the Phillipine Nursing forum.

There is no "reciprocity" of US nursing licenses. If you have a license in one state, you can apply for licensure in another state by endorsement.

However, since you do not have a CA license (you would not actually be issued a license until you had a Social Security number), you cannot apply for licensure by endorsement. You can apply for licensure in another state by examination, and ask CA to send your NCLEX results to the other state. There is much already written about this on this forum.

Suggest you check out the forum and look for the many threads we have discussing this. Good thread to read with instructions is Ca for initial licensure

You will be starting the licensing process from the beginning for Illinois and that means getting the CES completed before they will even look at your application. Does not matter if you have taken the exam already but you do not have a license to endorse.

And the actual valid period for the letter from the BRN is for three years, if you have actually received it. Not sure where the two years is coming from.

As mentioned above, please take the time to do some reading here.
