Help with "Hotspot" Questions

Hi! I was wondering if someone could give me a list of potential landmarks that could be "hot spot" questions. For example: A diagram is given of the sternum and ribs and we have to identify Erb's Point. Can you all think of any others?

I was thinking Aortic, Pulmonic, Tricuspid and Mitral points, Point of Maximal Impulse, Mc. Burney's Point, and maybe to locate the Fundus on a woman who just gave birth? I'm having trouble thinking of others, and I know there must be so many more!

Thank you.

I know we had to identify Cullen's sign on an ATI exam at one point but I didn't have any hot spots on the NCLEX. Good luck!

Does anyone know if there's a list in one of the NCLEX prep books.. couldn't locate one in the review book for Kaplan.

cullen, turner, and maybe a diagram of brudzinski, kernig, trousseau, and chvostek.

Thanks! I'm happy that I know these haha :)

There were a lot of Kaplan Hotspot questions pertaining to Fetal placement. LOA, LOP, LSA, ROA, ROP, and RSA.
