HELP! Question about taking the NCLEX in Raleigh, IS it a good idea

Published

Is it true that taking the NCLEX in Raleigh, NC is not a good idea. I have heard some myths about the NCLEX in NC. THe rumor is you are more likely to get 265 questions if you take the NCLEX in Raleigh. Has anyone else heard this? Does anyone know someone who passed in the NCLEX in Raleigh, NC in 265 questions. I have been told that I should take the test in another state.

The 'N' in NCLEX stands for National. Although each candidate's test is different, the geographic location has nothing to do with it.

Hey Eagle!

Thank you so much for that. I was a concerned because I heard it from a mentor. I don't believe in URBAN legends but this concerned me because it came from somebody that I trust.

I took the NCLEX in Raleigh..........it was a while ago, but I only got 75 questions and I passed. The folks at the center were very helpful and polite. I also took the CLNC exam there last year with the same results, nice, helpful folks and a passing grade!
