I'm applying to University Southern Alabama AG-PCNP program and I just want to know if anyone used the standard APA format for their personal statement letter?

For an academic paper APA, but business letter format is better for a personal statement.

Did your schol specify a format? If not, I agree a business format works well, but some schools pefr APA and may submit it for plagerism. Each school is different.

I recently applied and USA specifies APA for your personal statement
They would like the letter to be in APA format.
Did you include Title Page and Abstract in your letter?

My school specified APA and wanted 3-5 references cited. I did include a title page and listed references on the very end of it to make sure it fit within the required page allotment. And yes, I was accepted (to a pretty competitive program) and told my statement was outstanding.

I am applying to the University of South Alabama for the PMHNP DNP program, and I used the example located at the bottom of this page: Purdue OWL: Writing the Personal Statement

Thank you so much for posting the Purdue OWL reference. I will be applying for USA's PMHNP program for Summer 2018 and wanted to get a head start on my personal statement before the application cycle opens on August 23.

Can I get an update of what you used? For some reason it just looks off using APA format, I know they want that format, but I don't know if a short writing would need the front page, title, abstract, etc.

I wrote a personal statement for my university with an APA cover sheet. No format was specified.
