JJFrog actually has a good suggestion for your action plan. Either you say Stay off-line until all paperwork is caught upOR reward yourself w 30 minutes bid of allnurses stress-relief!

ACTION PLAN:

#1 CHECK/MAINTAIN AGENDA EVERYDAY

#2 PRIORITIZE ASSIGNMENTS

#3 ANTICIPATE ACTION WHEN PROBLEMS ARISE

#4 ORGANIZE ALL NOTES, PAPERWORK, ETC. SO THEY CAN BE QUICKLY AND EASILY ACCESSED

#5 WHEN FEELING OVERWHELMED BY AN ASSIGNMENT, CREATE AN OUTLINE TO FOLLOW TO MAKE THE TASK EASIER

#6 KEEP "MEMORY BOOK" WITH ME AT ALL TIMES

#7 COMMUNICATE WITH INSTRUCTORS WHEN HELP IS NEEDED WITHOUT PROCRASTINATION.........

WHAT DO YA THINK????

I TOOK MY FINAL EXAM AND MADE AN 86 :) .......

MY CLINICAL EVALUATION ?..... I HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY EVALUATION BY MY INSTRUCTOR YET......THEY WANT TO KNOW HOW I SHOULD BE EVALUATED............ I MUST MAKE AT LEAST A 70 ON THE PAPERWORK I TURNED IN......NOT POSSIBLE......WE WERE ALLOWED 2 TRIES ON THIS CARE PLAN ANALYSIS........I ONLY TURNED IN ONE......SHOULD I SUGGEST COMPLETING A SECOND ONE AND TURNING IT IN BY THE NEXT DAY?????

WOULD THAT SHOW MY DESIRE TO STAY IN THE PROGRAM?........WE ARE ALLOWED 2 WEEKS TO WORK ON THIS THING ...... I GIVE MYSELF ONE DAY........OPINIONS, SUGGESTIONS, ANYONE???? AND YES I WILL STAY OFF THE INTERNET.........

Very good Kelly! It shows you have personalized it. Since it is so close to the end of the year, probably wouldn't matter to put timeframes, but they do like timeframes, like will have all assignments in agenda by December 11th, will have all paperwork and notes organized by December 15th, etc...

WooHoo on the 86! Sounds like you knew your stuff.

How was your clinical performance?? YES! Turn in the care plan late with the action plan as a measure of good faith!! At this point, it's down to you screwed up, and if you are serious about wanting to stay in this program, you have to be not only serious but do some sincere azz-kissing. (You know there is a diff btw insincere and sincere azz-kizzing right? LOL!)

OK Kelly, I want to hear you got all the stuff done and turned in and will pass this semester. If you fail the whooooole semester b/c of papers being late, you are going to hate yourself for it, and you or your parents, or whoever paid for this education will not be too happy you will have to do it all over either. Not being mean, just giving you the cyberkick in the butt that you need, with love!

my clinical instructor seemed pleased with my clinical performance.......i performed skills safely......she never confronted me with any problem or concern she had with me.....finishing up this letter...can't sleep....worried.....praying.....going to take a relaxing shower.......

Hey Kelly Girl...Not to encourage another means to procrastination on the internet...Heheheh but maybe you should check out http://www.flylady.net. I don't follow everything to a "T" but the ladies that run this site are fabulous and very helpful with organizational type things. Just a thought! BTW...this is coming from one procrastinator to another! She has really helped out with my organization skills in my personal and professional life. Good luck and congratulations!
