CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME? I HAVE A PROJECT DUE ON JANUARY 10 ON ANY ONE OF THESE SUBJECTS: CARDIAC NSG, RESPIRATORY DISORDERS, PAIN, INFECTION/INFLAMMATION, LAB VALUES, HEMATOLOGICAL/BLOOD DISORDERS, FLUID AND ELECTROLYTE DISORDERS, ACID BASE IMBALANCE, PERIPHERAL VASCULAR DISORDERS, AND PERIOPERATIVE NSG. I HAVE TO PREPARE A 5 MINUTE VISUAL OR AUDITORY PRESENTATION.
I WAS THINKING OF DOING A PULMONARY EDEMA (IN THE RESPIRATORY DISORDERS CATEGORY), BUT I GOT A PUMP, AND BALLOON WITH WATER, AND WHEN I TRIED IT, IT DIDN'T WORK. ALMOST HALF MY GRADE GOES TO CREATIVITY AND UNIQUENESS, SO PLEASE HELP ME WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS! THANKS

there is book by Barbara Bates called 'a guide to physical examination and history taking'. published by lippencott. Its the accepted bible on physical examination skills for nurse practitioners here! personally, I wish she could spell (all those american spellings!!)

I don't like to do others homework, but here is a really neat demo for you:
Choose sickle cell under hematological disorders. Get a piece of clear plastic pipe- preferably with a curve (something like the tunnels from those gerbil houses) Then, get some marbles and jacks. To demonstrate how sicled cells do not flow properly through veins you first roll the marbles (need plenty) through the tube- this shows normal cells. Then do the same thing with the jacks- they will move, but will tend to get all clogged up.
WOW, THAT'S A GREAT IDEA! I'VE SEEN POWERPOINT PRESENTATIONS BEFORE, AND THEY WERE GREAT! THE ONLY PROBLEM IS THAT I DON'T KNOW HOW TO WORK POWERPOINT. CAN U TEACH ME PLEASE?
OH MY GOSH! THANK YOU SO MUCH, YOU DON'T KNOW HOW HAPPY I AM RIGHT NOW! I WILL TRY IT RIGHT AWAY, THANK YOU THANK YOU, THANK YOU A MILLION TIMES! :chuckle
