I feel that I am wiser and see things so differently. I take my job seriously, I am dependable and I feel like I am making a difference in my patients lives. I'm taking it upon myself to eat better and live better(stress wise) to be a model for my patients.

d) What advise would you offer the person just beginning the nursing profession?

Make sure your heart is in it and your not doing it for the money. I was in school with some people who view nursing as a way to just make good money. It does provide a steady paycheck and good benefits but do it because you well you can make a difference in a persons life.

e) What advise would you give me, the nursing student, as I work toward my degree.

Work hard, study a lot, listen to your teachers, practice a lot in your labs and clinical. Also try to experience as much as you can when you go to clinical s.Don't get caught up in all the gossip and back biting that goes on in the typical nursing classroom.
