  1. I'm sorry for cluttering up the LPN corner - but I have got what I need and do not know how to erase a forum. Thank you. juli44
  2. I lost a bunch of weight after Nutrition. After studying the rationals for eating whole food I feel extreme guilt when I eat fast food. Now I just need to force myself to exercise!
  3. Good question - I feel like I'm amputating the arms of my classmates. This is so foreign to me. (I even keep putting my stethoscope on backwards)
  4. We were given a care plan example - a plant with droopy leaves. The way it simplified the knowledge worked for me. When ever I get stuck I go back to the plant. My suggestion is to make a simplified care plan and have it checked by your teacher and use it as a reference.
  5. I love the practice Qs in the back of the book or any work book that comes with the text. I study with flash cards and then work the Qs the night before and I haven't missed an A so far.
  6. There is a study guide. I got mine from my student bookstore - but I know some girls who got theirs off of amazon.com. It's called "NET test study guide" - a little blue book. All of the math I needed to know was in there and the reading comprehension section was good practice. Don't pay too much attention to the grammar - I don't recall any on the test.
  7. I have not had to do drips yet - just regular conversions. All I can say about converting is focus on the known and unknown and keep them separate. good luck.
  8. I can't wait for my OR day. Thank you for the tips!
  9. These are some great tips and resources. Thank You. I have my first foundations exam on Monday and we covered 22 chapters this first week. There is so much info! But it's all important. It's not like you can cut down what you study. I'm going to focus on note cards and practice Qs.
  10. My test taking strategy is to remember that I know more than I think I do. Also, if you take a look at the bigger picture - remember that everything that you've worked for does not depend on one test - you will succeed if you have the desire. Think long-term.
