I received my letter today with the date for taking the Compass test for the LPN program at Holmes. I really don't know what to expect. I have heard people say it is a basic skills test, but I am still freaking out. I guess I am most worried about the Math. Can anyone that has taken it please tell me how hard the math is? I am sure it has plenty of Algebra, fractions and percents, but I am not sure what else. Please, help me if you can. I have to take it May 17.

They didn't tell yall all about the program and that the reading was the most important thing they look at? Were the 2 instructors there and introduce themselves? Maybe they are tired of doing it everyday and we got the speech because we were the first group? Did you happen to notice if the list was in alphabetical order? I didn't notice. I was wondering how they decided who went on what day. I'm sure you went today because you had to swap campuses. Sounds like you did good to me. What was your score in reading? They said they look at ACT scores first and then Compass scores in determining who gets in.
