Hi!
I've recently completed a study session on chest auscultation & the lecturer told us to try it out in practice & 6o also use the look, listen, feel approach when assessing the chest. I've been trying to find links to do with chest auscultation, but I was wondering can anyone offer any advice/tips on the topic or any websites please?
Thank you.

I am a new to all of this too, and my teacher recommended that we watch videos by hawlknurse on youtube. She has great (according to my teacher, because I have nothing to really compare with) videos demonstrating the basic HOW TOs of assessment. As far as the sounds, they tell us not to be too frustrated with not getting it right off, that it comes with experience and if we hear something that sounds abnormal, to get our clinical instructor to help us distinguish what it is that we are hearing. I don't know if I much help, I just wanted to let you know that not knowing right now does not mean you are alone. I feel so lost too...lol. Keep your head up, experience will teach you more than any book I hear. At least, I hope

HawkNurse youtube videos are very very good. I highly recommend them as your teacher has already done. Lungsounds on youtube are just as good as well.
