Help.Cannot get a JOB!

I am in Louisville and since going on maternity leave I cannot get hired! I am from VA and I have never had this much trouble. I have been applied for RN positions constantly for the last year, especially with Noton. I have had 3 interviews out of the 100+ apps. They act like I am hired then I get the "thanks but no thanks e-mail"

Anyone else having this much trouble??

I don't know if this helps, but I know that UK Hospital checks your credit score as part of the background check. They also are trying to have something like 80% of the nursing staff be BSNs by 2015 or something, so I'm sure getting hired as an ADN is extremely difficult right now.

Knowing someone who already works at UK and getting them to give a manager your resume is the best tactic for getting hired.

I don't think they check your credit and background unless they have first made you an offer and you sign a release, so I doubt that's it. The market is saturated and the economy is tight. Period.

Heck if credit scores were the determining factor for not hiring people, than most of us would never get employed.
