Just wanted to say hello to everyone.
I'm a recently qualified RN working for the NHS in the UK. Times are hard for all nurses here, so I am considering pursuing my nursing career in the US.
Any tips for a foreign nurse looking to emigrate?

Hi there - welcome to the site!
Truth is if you're thinking USA you've a long way to go. If you really want out of the UK you have to look Oz/New Zealand for a quicker, easier escape!

As RGN1 says long way to go... Your UK training may not match US requirements and you may not have enough hours in Midwifery, mental health and paeds, that is if you have done adult branch. Any hours missiong has to be made up with an accredited course and must include both theory as well as practical. Would suggest a good read on both this forum and the international forum and any more questions just ask away
