Hello! I need to talk with a CRNA!

Published

Hello everyone! I am a senior in High school and I am very interested in the nursing field. I plan on attending UAB in fall of 07" and working towards my RN. I am thinking about going from there and becoming a CRNA. If their are any CRNA's out there or anyone that is knowledgeable about this career please contact me!;)

Welcome to the site! If you don't get a response from here, you might check out the CRNA and Pre-CRNA Forums. Good luck.

Specializes in Med-Surg.

Welcome. Definately check out the CRNA Forum, but first the pre-CRNA forum here: https://allnurses.com/forums/f16/ There are a few stickey's there. If you have further questions be sure to ask on those forums.

Becoming a CRNA is a long, competetive process so study hard and make good grades. After getting a BSN, you need to have two years of critical care experience as an RN before you apply. Good luck.

Welcome to allnurses.com! Post moved for more responses.

Actually, the minimum requirement is one year of critical care experience.
