Helene Fuld College of Nursing 2021

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hello everyone, hope all is well , I created this space out of curiosity over Helene Fuld College on Nursing . I had applied for Fall '21 for their BSN program and I'm awaiting their reply , I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the school and if it's possible to inform on a few things like :

  • generally , how is the school / their program / professors ? How are online classes ?
  • Is it true that they have a 100% acceptance rate as long as u meet all requirements ?
  • How long do u usually have to wait for a decision letter from them ? (I applied Mar 9 '21)
  • Do they really transfer Science credits that have C+ and up ? meaning , u would be a few steps ahead regarding pre-reqs because of the transfer ? (I have an A.A.S degree)

I'll probably add more to it later depending on how much information I can get from other places ... please feel free to add on to this conversation ! Thank u so much

Usually they send you an email in regards to signing up for the TEAS. Once you take the exam and pass you’re pretty much accepted. I’m doing the LPN-RN and just started in February so I’ve only taken 2 classes so far. Loved my professors I have right now. I think all nursing classes are held in the school, and the other classes like sociology, psych, etc are online. I took math\chem and nursing skills and those are currently online. They do transfer all of your science credits over. I took micro, A&P 1 and 2 at different schools and they accepted them without any issues!

Thank u so much for replying and the info. How long did it take u after applying to get a TEAS invitation email? Its nice to know your having a good experience!

I recently applied also but for the LPN-RN program. Can you tell me if the 2 prerequisite courses are on specific days and what time it’s usually held?

I am currently in the Generic BSN program. It was fully remote Fall 2020, hybrid Winter 2021 and Spring 2021 I was told would be hybrid as well with all classes for me on a Thursday from 8am to 430; and one class on a Wednesday online.

My application process was smooth. However, I passed my TEAS, but still had to wait because my scores weren't as high, and there were candidates with better scores.

They did not follow up with me; I emailed them several times to find out if there is opening for the following year. I took my TEAS in June 2019. My last email was in April 2020. They told me in June that I was accepted and that I could start in September 2020.

I did not know everything they were requesting until August 2020. With a deadline of about 2 weeks after the date they informed us. Thankfully I got everything done in time.

I hear a lot of successful experiences. I hear a lot of issues with transfer credits. Other programs might be different; but for the Generic BSN, it's been crazy this year. At least for the new cohort.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you so much for replying love. I applied last month & still waiting for a response regarding TEAS exams. Waiting has definitely been anxiety inducing but it’s good to know that everything worked out for you. much love! Stay in touch.

Hi , I had gotten a response back saying that I’m on the waitlist & if my application is approved I would be able to take the TEAS. There was no specific information in the email besides that. Does this sound similar to what happened to you ?
