Helene Fuld College of Nursing 2021

U.S.A. New York

Published

Hello everyone, hope all is well , I created this space out of curiosity over Helene Fuld College on Nursing . I had applied for Fall '21 for their BSN program and I'm awaiting their reply , I was wondering if anyone was familiar with the school and if it's possible to inform on a few things like :

  • generally , how is the school / their program / professors ? How are online classes ?
  • Is it true that they have a 100% acceptance rate as long as u meet all requirements ?
  • How long do u usually have to wait for a decision letter from them ? (I applied Mar 9 '21)
  • Do they really transfer Science credits that have C+ and up ? meaning , u would be a few steps ahead regarding pre-reqs because of the transfer ? (I have an A.A.S degree)

I'll probably add more to it later depending on how much information I can get from other places ... please feel free to add on to this conversation ! Thank u so much

I wonder how the interviewing process goes. What if they deny me based off the interview? Is that possible ? Anyways good luck tomorrow on your TEAS exam. If you want you can pm me I still remember some of the questions I was asked so I can help you with what you need to focus on lmk

I am currently in the Generic BSN program. It was fully remote Fall 2020, hybrid Winter 2021 and Spring 2021 I was told would be hybrid as well with all classes for me on a Thursday from 8am to 430; and one class on a Wednesday online.

My application process was smooth. However, I passed my TEAS, but still had to wait because my scores weren't as high, and there were candidates with better scores.

They did not follow up with me; I emailed them several times to find out if there is opening for the following year. I took my TEAS in June 2019. My last email was in April 2020. They told me in June that I was accepted and that I could start in September 2020.

I did not know everything they were requesting until August 2020. With a deadline of about 2 weeks after the date they informed us. Thankfully I got everything done in time.

I hear a lot of successful experiences. I hear a lot of issues with transfer credits. Other programs might be different; but for the Generic BSN, it's been crazy this year. At least for the new cohort.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Hello there!

I am conditionally accepted into the Genric BSN program. Need some insights, please. I am not able to send PM. is there any way to send you a message? If you don't mind, sharing your experience. Thank you

Hey everyone!
So I made a mistake. I applied the day that the application was due. The next day when I spoke to the counselor she said I would automatically be put on the waitlist due to how many applicants applied before me. (Which I thought was a little weird because if I’m more qualified why would they get admitted first?) she then said because of the strength of my application and GPA I would most likely be at the top of the waitlist.

has anyone else experienced this? My email said I would know by the end of June but I haven’t even taken my TEAS yet. Pretty confused here

Hello all,

I am a current Student at Helene Fuld. I will be starting my last semester in August. I transferred in all of my prerequisite courses. You will need a C+ and higher in any class you wish to transfer including science classes. Also what most people overlook is they only accept your English classes if you score the required grade on the english portion of your TEAS. Classes are tough but doable if you make time to study, some teachers are nice and some aren't but if you set your goal on passing you will do great. Also, if you have recently passed your TEAS then you most likely will here from admissions right before the semester starts. The way they do it is they focus on all current students and who is due to be registered for classes at the moment then they will start rolling out the emails. For me I received my math/chem enrollment forms two weeks before classes started.

@msneycruz did they make you complete your castle branch before paying the $100 deposit?

hey not sure if you still need the answer to this but you pay the $100 first basically and they give you a deadline for when you have to complete the castlebranch by. the $100 is basically holding your seat completion of the castlebranch is to get registered for classes and what not
