Nursing Students LPN-RN

Do any of you guys currently go to Helen Fuld? Anyone planning to?

How is the LPN to RN program there?

How hard is it to get into the program?

I would love to hear anyone's feed back regarding the school!

I am planning on attending the LPN to RN program in APRIL 2014 at HELENE FULD COLLEGE in Harlem. I would like to know if anyone has any advice and or study notes for the Chemistry exam that they are willing to share or let me know what BOOK to buy so I can start studying for it. Thank you in advance

I started April 2014 too, how are you liking it so far?

I just passed the Chem & math class along with the nursing skills class and the real program starts next week, anyone currently in the program?

I wanted to go to Helene Fuld, until I went to an information session. One woman, with a very high pitched voice (I believe she said she taught the psych classes?) said that "LPN's are not real nurses. You don't have any actual degree yet". My colleague and I walked right out. It was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard, and I could not believe that she had said that. I still can't. Anyways, now I am doing an LPN-RN program at a community college in NJ. Good luck to those of you who can deal with that teacher!

I start 221 and 201 next week too, which classes are you taking?

I'm taking English, psych and a&p

Hello do you have any heads up on 221 class?

Do you have any helpful tips for 221?

Study very hard. Because they don't teach you have to sit in groups. I thought this was a good school like Veeb but it's not. I am in 222 I hope I pass because if you fail 2x your out. I failed 221 because I took to many classes. I took English A&P and 221 and only passed English,a&p

Only take 221 it's a lot and theirs no more lectures. All the ppl are failing in 222 224 because of it and we're trying to report them. It's just crazy their.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL !! THEY DONT RESPECT THE STUDENTS,

ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS HOW MANY TIMES THEY CAN FAIL YOU AND TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY

this school had so many bad reviews and against

my better judgment I still signed up because

in past years I've had friends who had attended

and despite failing a class or two they had managed to graduate

but recently they have changed the way the "teach" THERE IS NO LECTURE!!

everything is CASE STUDY done in groups and its not even done in an orderly fashion

its a disaster . it is impossible to learn this way. the professors are limited as to how much information

they share with their the students. I would highly recommend that you spend your money at an institution

that truly helps their students and gives them the resources and support they need to pass NCLEX & become

great nurses. I WILL POST HERE EVERY DAY of my own personal experiences and those of others until my fingers fall off

omg i went to veeb and just graduated in august ! i also passed my boards and really want to get some advice before i apply to helene full! how do u like it so far? i also made a thread about helene full any piece of advice or tips will be greatly appreciated!!!
