Do any of you guys currently go to Helen Fuld? Anyone planning to?
How is the LPN to RN program there?
How hard is it to get into the program?
I would love to hear anyone's feed back regarding the school!
I wanted to go to Helene Fuld, until I went to an information session. One woman, with a very high pitched voice (I believe she said she taught the psych classes?) said that "LPN's are not real nurses. You don't have any actual degree yet". My colleague and I walked right out. It was the most ridiculous thing I had ever heard, and I could not believe that she had said that. I still can't. Anyways, now I am doing an LPN-RN program at a community college in NJ. Good luck to those of you who can deal with that teacher!
STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL !! THEY DONT RESPECT THE STUDENTS,
ALL THEY CARE ABOUT IS HOW MANY TIMES THEY CAN FAIL YOU AND TAKE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY
this school had so many bad reviews and against
my better judgment I still signed up because
in past years I've had friends who had attended
and despite failing a class or two they had managed to graduate
but recently they have changed the way the "teach" THERE IS NO LECTURE!!
everything is CASE STUDY done in groups and its not even done in an orderly fashion
its a disaster . it is impossible to learn this way. the professors are limited as to how much information
they share with their the students. I would highly recommend that you spend your money at an institution
that truly helps their students and gives them the resources and support they need to pass NCLEX & become
great nurses. I WILL POST HERE EVERY DAY of my own personal experiences and those of others until my fingers fall off
