what have you heard about LIU nursing program?

I've never really heard much about it, but I have heard that LIU in itself is a good school?? is this true? please tell me what you know about the nursing program. how difficult is it to get into?

I have to take the HESI A2 ASAP at LIU so I can register for the prof phase for Jan 2012. I'm nevous about this test as I am an older student, and haven't taken standardized tests in years. Do I need to study for this exam? Suggestions on a book to review from? Any advice will help me. I have to either take it next week or the first epweek of november Is this enough time?

It starts in the spring and the fall.

Thanks. I applied about a month and half ago for the spring 2012 semester and I haven't received a decision. I've called but they seem a bit disorganized about the application process smh

They're actually in the middle of counseling for the spring registration. It's a very busy time. Have you taken the HESI? Maybe contact the admissions office. That's the route that I went. They were very helpful.

I haven't taken the hesi yet but will next week down here in south florida.Do you know how liu will know if I took it or not?

Marvin06, I took the HESI A2 at LIU this past Saturday. I used the Evolve book and scored 98% on the Math, 94% on the English Composite Score, 84% on the Science Composite. The overall score was 90.29% Did you hear from LIU admissions yet?

I applied October 13th, I called on November 10th they didnt have my file completely logged in. I called yesterday and talked to the admissions director told them what happened later on that day I was admitted. Looks like with LIU you have to be really organized and on top of everything or you will fall through the cracks
