Well.......I made my decision and will be working close to home. I emailed the hospital and explained that the pay was almost enough. They called me back with an increase in starting pay........so I took it.

Thanks Tweety, the h/a is better but the cough is more frequent! grrr... and I am dang tired from waking up to cough and pee (yes the two go together lol)

Zoe.......I have sleep apnea, and since I got the cpap machine I sleep better

I can't imagine I could sleep better with a noisy thing puffing air past my ear, but if you say so, lol...

I'm going to be offline the next few days. Through a lucky fluke, I'm not scheduled to work until early next week (although I more than make up for it then, LOL) so we're heading up to the mountains for a few days of R&R. Plus, we've got a new tent we've been so ready to try out. See you guys when I get back :) You know, they really should make disposable clothes for camping. . .

I've always been a fan of Animal, lol!

Hope you enjoy your camping, we did it a lot when I was a kid! (I agree on the disposable clothing, ditto on blankets and pillows and such!)

I am feeling a bit blue today, not sure what's up with that. I think I am just jealous that my brother is going to be moving to LasVegas and I am stuck out here. Don't get me wrong, I love the prairie, but every once in a while I long for a taste of that youth where it is so easy to just pick up and move wherever and whenever you want. The family kinda puts a damper on that for me, LOL! Drat! Oh well. I've been good today, so that's a plus. :)

Sarah - Sorry re: your Blues! Hormones influencing anything? If it's Vegas specific, take a little visit out there and see what the traffic does for you. LA has nothing on Vegas in that department anymore. One quick trip to the big city and I'm usually cured of needing to be anywhere other than out in the rural desert.

ER - congrats on the new job!!! Glad they could make it work for you. Hope it all works out well. I have figured out that about the time I find the 'perfect' job, the dang thing changes on me and that's the end of perfection.

How is everyone doing today?

Will be very busy.......senior meal, drop off dh application (he is applying at the same hospital I will be working at) driving to the city, seeing grandkids and then a friend, and then to my dads to collapse. Actually should walk after all the sitting and driving.

Went out last night, driving around the ridge, saw turkeys, deer and a rabbit, save the rabbit several times, he kept coming out and sitting in the middle of the road......

Well, this is the day I tend to eat the worst, being on the road for two meals, today though I am going to the senior meal (very healthy) and dd cooking chicken tonight......so should be better day.

I hope everyone is eating healthier and exercising.......

Hi Blue, Hi ER hi everybody - my head is a little bit better, since I DID CALL THE DR.

It's almost like the old days when I smoked and when it was allowed in restaurants (I can't IMAGINE smoke in restaurants now! YUCK!) - anyway, if the waiter was taking too long, sure enough you'd light up and the food would come. And so, since I have an appt with doc for tomorrow - my head is immeasurably better ...
