Anyone have any info regarding Health South Rehab Hospital, working as an RN?
i was hired at healthsouth as a new grad; i have not been working there in almost 2 years and i tried to go back to get my job back and they said they werent hiring lpns at this time. i dont know if they are trying to phase them out of the facility or what but it was a great place to work for a new grad. plenty of orientation and lots of support from other nurses. the pay was a little lower than if you worked in ltc. i am in new jersey so i dont know about other states. but you should def give it a try, it was a good first experience for me.
I recently accepted a PRN position with a Healthsouth Rehab Hospital in Texas and will start my training in a couple of weeks. I certainly hope to make the most of the experience while learning new skills.
Hi TheCommuter! How was your gig at Healthsouth? I will be going for an interview this Monday.... Im kinda freaking out about just everything answering questions and all that. Plus I never had any rehab nursing experience. I just hope Ill do great in the interview and get the job. Good luck with work though! :)
I still work there, so the gig is meeting my expectations at the present time.Hi TheCommuter! How was your gig at Healthsouth? I will be going for an interview this Monday.... I have worked for H.S. for 16 years. Has it's ups and downs but really not a bad place to work, and fairly good benefits too. Pay is pretty good but the raises really suck
