Hi,
Does anyone know of any websites or list of health carrers you can get into in less than a year.
For instance I know the LPN program takes 11 months and the CNA only takes 6 weeks to complete.
If there are any other careers you can think about can you let me know.
Thanks,
Jonathan.

Why in less than a year? What is your goal in healthcare?

How about surgical technology- operating room scrub tech. You can also do this w/ an LPN diploma at least at my hospital and several other facilities locally in this area (s. central PA) maybe this is common in other places too.

I am a recently phlebotomy grad finishing up clinicals. So far it's been what I'd hoped for, a bird's-eye view of every unit of the hospital, clinical and patient exposure, and a way to make a few bucks during nursing school. You really learn the ropes this way, and have a huge advantage over your classmates knowing how to do the sticks, and more importantly knowing what you're getting yourself into. My program was 18 hrs. of classroom, and 88 hrs. of clinical training. Today I was in ped's. Excellent exposure.
