Study...seek help from a classmate or the instructor
I tried getting tutor at the beginning of the semester and found none. I talked to my teacher and she basically said nursing wasn't for everyone and that I needed to think of a plan b. I talked to the other instructor and she said just to study and the final would cover about 20 chapters, 4 questions from each chapter and that learning the Head to Toe assessment would really help. My final is December 8th. I'm studying a chapter a day and looking at study guides. I just wanted to see if anyone had advice or helpful resources.
I wouldn't say nursing isn't for everyone, I'd say nursing tests aren't for everyone. It's definitely a different ball game from prereqs. I'm surprised knowing your head to toe assesment wasn't a requirement. To be honest health assesmwnt should be an easy A or B. On the bright side finals are far less in depth than your other tests. Try looking at YouTube videos. When I was in nursing school I consistently watched a guy named Michael Linares on YouTube and he is fantastic. I also utilized khan academy. Both excellent resources.
I will be tested on the Head to Toe assessment on November 30th and than my Final exam is December 8th. I am just studying one chapter a day for the next 4 weeks and studying for the Head to Toe.
