If there is already a thread please place the link below.
I have an 3.5 ,TEAS 63 and I will be submitting app by end of this week :)
Congrats! Thanks so much for all the help with our questions. I know you can relate. :) Do you remember what day Fall Orientation was last year?
I believe it was on a Monday morning. It's a busy day. You get to find out what clinical group you're in once you open your welcome bag/folder. You'll try on scrubs. Meet classmates. Talk to SNA (me!). Drug test. Meet instructors... lots of info. Just be friendly because you are going to be with these ppl for a long time. Lol.
Hi all! I don't think I've ever made a post in this thread, but I wish everyone the best of luck!
My statistics:
Overall GPA: 3.92
Pre-req GPA: 4.00
I'm quite nervous the nursing classes will be difficult... I've always had the mindset that I need A's, but right now I'm just hoping that I'll pass!
Does anyone know how the HCC/USF concurrent program works exactly? It seems like you would get you ASN and BSN in about 2.5 years, If you do fall-summer enrollments and go straight through. Looking through the old threads it seems as if HCC is speeding up the process and allowing nursing students to graduate earlier. I think, not 100 percent sure on that one though.
Would be awesome if they had an accelerated ADN program that you could complete in a years time frame.
hi everyone! I found this forum and read through it all. I'm so anxious that we find out this month... possibly next week! I hope that we all make it! I applied with a 69 on the TEAS but had a 4.0 GPA. I considered retaking the TEAS but was told it didn't matter, as long as you passed. I honestly have no clue what I'll do if I don't make it. I could always take a semester off and reapply but I have no back up plan. Good luck everyone and I hope everyone will say whether or not they hear something within the next week!!
Hello, getting anxious over possibly finding out soon! I applied to dale mabry days as my first choice with a 3.84 overall and a 3.9 pre req GPA. I took all of my pre reqs at Saint Pete College so I am hoping that doesn't effect my chances of getting in, wasn't sure if there was a requirement for taking any credits at bcc before applying?

I picked:
1) Dale Mabry Nights
2) Dale Mabry Days
3) Plant City
4) Southshore
At an orientation with the director of the program, she stated that Fall 2018 would only have night classes at the DM campus because the instructors didn't like having to drive back and forth to Plant City.
