Your Preq GPA,TEAS and if you've already submitted you app.

I have an 3.5 ,TEAS 63 and I will be submitting app by end of this week :)

And they only choose 150 applicants?

The excitement is very high, especially right now. We did the our Pinning Ceremony last night and it was pretty nice. And seeing the actual lamp/candle lighting was pretty awesome! :)

Congrats! Thanks so much for all the help with our questions. I know you can relate. :) Do you remember what day Fall Orientation was last year?

Here's my order of choices I chose

1.)Plant City

2.) south shore

3.) Dale Mabry days

4.) Dale Mabry nights and weekends.

I think I read something earlier that there isnt going to be a night option this term? Does anyone have any more info on that? Maybe thats why this thread is not as popular as last year's. I just emailed the program assistant for more info but didn't know if anyone here knew anything.

When I chose my options on the application it appears that they only got rid of plant city nights/weekends. When I talked to my advisor they informed me that is the only change as far as options!

I did notice that! I just assumed that it was an old application from last term, but that makes sense! I just checked the alternate search section and typed in nur 1213c (the first semester class) to see if there was even a night option available this term and it was available at the dale mabry campus only, but all of the NUR 2013C classes showed "Cnld" so they havent finalized everything yet.

Hello, everyone!

I got a GPA 3.7 in prereqs, 3.6 in overall.

I picked Southshore first, Plant city second, then Dale Mabry days.

Excited and nervous at the same time lol

BTW, I've emailed to Director of Nursing, she says

"I would suggest reviewing your A&P notes as we do not review that content in our program to any great extent understanding that you have that knowledge."

So, I am not sure I'd be accepted or not, but I started reviewing A&P since I took them a year ago.

I hope I will see you all at the orientation!!

Tomorrow is the deadline =) Hope everyone has already submitted their applications or going to within the next day or 2! Cant wait to see who got accepted where and meet everyone at the orientation! I was thinking about creating a Facebook Group to attract more applicants to be more engaged etc.. Who would be interested?

Greetings everyone,

I submitted my app on Fri, May 11. I know super late, but I had just completed my TEAS that morning and finished all my prerequisites the week prior.

My prereq GPA is. 4.0, overall GPA is 3.9 and I scored an 82.7 on my TEAS.

I believe I picked Dale Mabry Days as my first choice, Nights as my second then Southshore and finally Plant City.

I'm very anxious, but so ready to be taking the summer off as I have 2 young children and a part time job.

I'm throwing positive vibes, horseshoes, rabbit foots and blessings everyone's way!

I hope to see you all at orientation!!
