Hi!
Has anyone applied to the ADN program at HCC Coleman for Spring 2017?
I dropped mine off last week.
I have had plans to attend this program for many years and took my time completing my pre-req's to time my entrance with when my youngest turned 16 ( and got her license
now im worried about the possibility they will not be able to seat a class.
I have started the castlebranch process. I have taken my drug test and I also have done the background check and received my "blue card" clearance.
I need to make a drs appointment to get my titers done soon.
I have been waiting on the decision from UTHSC for their Pacesetter BSN program that I also applied to. I sorta want to wait to go to the dr until I know, so if they require a dr physical also, I have their form to be filled out.
Who else has gotten in? Popism? anyone else?

I just wish i knew the accreditation status at this point. Paying for for all the titers is expensive so i am just trying to save anywhere I can. As soon as i know they have the green light to start classes in January, i will pay the 61.80 . I know the school website states info will be available by the end of this month but someone stated earlier that she is a current student and confirmed they had a pass rate of over 80%, but why isn't the school saying something abt it?? Uuurrrgggghhh stressful!
I emailed them asking about their status. They told me they can confirm they met the 80 percent goal but will not have the final boards decision until Oct 27 and they will let us all know. Does anyone know how long castlebranch took to do?
Well, that's good news. I will wait till October 27th then. In regards to castlebranch, i dont know since i have not paid the 61.80 yet. I just have 2 titers to complete. And the fingerprinting of course. But i dont know how long it will take to recieve the blue card. Jennmv can u please tell us?
I actually did the drug test and background thru Castlebranch. I did not finish my immunizations.
I think that a month should be find if you have your shots.
I will not be attending HCC Coleman. I found out yesterday that I got accepted to UTHSC SON BSN! I will be declining my spot with HCC on Monday.
Good Luck to all of you!

Ohhh congratulations!!!
Hey you guys! Okay, so I got in as well and I've just completed everything in Castle Branch and yes everything is due on November 28th...After you do the finger prints, you should get your BON clearance card pretty quickly. I got mine in 5 days! Also, I reached out to the nursing advisor and asked her about the accredidation status and she said they DID surpass the 80% requirement and that she is 99% sure that they will have a program, they are just waiting for the formal meeting with the BON to get the thumbs up and that's when they'll inform us in a formal letter. Also, someone mentioned above whether it's a fast track program (which includes Summers) and it is! I believe it's 18 months so it would start in January and run until May of 2018 or that Summer sometime. I reached out and asked this same question. The $61.80 includes the right to upload documents and also when they register you for a drug test, you can go ahead and do that (that's included in the fee) I'm trying to think of what else? Not sure! But I'll be following this thread because I've been trying to find one where everyone else is in the same boat and it looks like this is the one! Good luck everyone! I'm super excited but yes, it'll be much better once we have that final status question formally addressed!
