HCC coleman Fall 2020

Published

Hi everyone, I am currently taking prereqs for the ADN program at HCC. I am almost done with my associate's so I can do a BSN program as well, but my focus is HCC. I know it's kind of early but are there any HCC fall 2020 future applicants? HCC's deadline is strange lol I have everything completed this Winter, but because the deadline for spring 2020 was August, I'm too late to apply.? It's ok though because things always happen for a reason! I just pray I get in! My ADN PROGRAM grades are as follow:

AP1: B

AP1LAB: A

AP2: C >.> ? NEEED TO RE-TAKE LOL

AP2 LAB: PENDING

MICROBIOLOGY: A

MICRO LAB: A

ENGL 1: A

HUMAN GROWTH: A

Psych: A

I have yet to take the HESI because I'm not done yet BUT my projected completion day will be around January.

I will update in spring 2020 when I am ready to submit the application! ?

Question: Do I HAVE to re-take AP2? I will if I have to though

yeah, you just upload that same pages 3x .. that's what I did and they approved it

I am also planning on applying to HCC. I already took my HESI but the location didn’t offer the critical thinking. I am taking only this section at hcc. I can’t seem to find any info online about this section. Do you have tips on what to expect for critical thinking?

Hi guys can someone help me how to get Texas board of clearance card? Thank you

I sure the school is responsible for that muna ?

Thank you Chubbyboo. Are you applying hcc?

Hi guys,

Can someone help me where can I get fast track hep b vaccine in Houston?

Hi Everyone,

I am new to the website.

I had a few questions in regards to the application process for HCC. I received an email stating to upload my documents to Castle Branch. Does this mean I have been accepted?

Thank you!

@Muna No idea, I used Walgreen they insisted that I wait for a month between the first and second shot and wait another two weeks from the second shot to get the titer test done.

@FutureNurse73 hey welcome

uploading your immunizations are apart of them determining who they will accept

Is everyone required to upload documentation for castle branch or they choose students that can qualify to get into the program and whoever turns in the documentation makes it to the program? Sorry just wanting to make sure if I have a chance in getting accepted. I received the email said accepted conditional. Thank you

No problem. Everybody has to upload documentation. it’s not a acceptance letter. They don’t send acceptance letters until May or June I think @FutureNurse73

@FutureNurse73 yes. Once you meet the first requirement you get that message then in April they'll let us know who is on and who's off. Then we take it from there. They have changes their process I think.
