  1. Thanks for the tip. I’ll study these quizlets and might take this section next week.
  2. Never knew about the pass/fail & 3.0 GPA but yes you are right, with that GPA it will be tough to get in to grad school if you plan on doing that. I guess online learning works for some people but I am not sure if it is for me. I also applied to COM and I’m applying to HCC after I take the critical thinking section of HESI (I don’t even know what to study for it). I don’t think I’ll have enough time to apply at San Jac - I have not submitted my transcripts to them yet.
  3. Your reading was 92 (or was that the compre?) and you were still on the waitlist? WOW!. They sure really are selective.
  4. No. My friend was dismissed from the prog. She said the program was kinda disorganized and a lot of people are failing out. It’s a new program, I think, so I guess there is still a lot of room for improvement. I chose ADN mainly because of the cost.
  5. How does alvin compute the GPA? Is it just the 4 required pre-reqs or does it also include micro, lifespan and elective?
  6. I know someone who used to attend WGU. She told me that you have to be able to self motivate the whole time because no one is really pushing you unlike traditional programs. It also depends on the mentor you get assigned to. I was also thinking of wgu but changed my mind. I’ve heard good this about chamberlain but I agree that their tuition is really expensive.
  7. I attended the info session on the 3rd. I also applied to college of the mainland and I’m thinking of applying to HCC but I have yet to take the critical thinking portion of the HESI. I might take it next week. How about you?
  8. I am also planning on applying to HCC. I already took my HESI but the location didn’t offer the critical thinking. I am taking only this section at hcc. I can’t seem to find any info online about this section. Do you have tips on what to expect for critical thinking?
