HCC coleman Fall 2020

Published

Hi everyone, I am currently taking prereqs for the ADN program at HCC. I am almost done with my associate's so I can do a BSN program as well, but my focus is HCC. I know it's kind of early but are there any HCC fall 2020 future applicants? HCC's deadline is strange lol I have everything completed this Winter, but because the deadline for spring 2020 was August, I'm too late to apply.? It's ok though because things always happen for a reason! I just pray I get in! My ADN PROGRAM grades are as follow:

AP1: B

AP1LAB: A

AP2: C >.> ? NEEED TO RE-TAKE LOL

AP2 LAB: PENDING

MICROBIOLOGY: A

MICRO LAB: A

ENGL 1: A

HUMAN GROWTH: A

Psych: A

I have yet to take the HESI because I'm not done yet BUT my projected completion day will be around January.

I will update in spring 2020 when I am ready to submit the application! ?

Question: Do I HAVE to re-take AP2? I will if I have to though

I yes it is. Please can someone direct me on how to get the documents for the physical check up that the Doctors need to sign? It's supposed to be on Castle Branch.

I need to know how to get that too.

Hello. Do we need to take Hepatitis C too?

I thought it said only for cna to lvn or straight lvn program. I’ll call to verify

Please share the response you get. Thanks

I asked them today and they said everything has to be done by june 12 deadline for castle branch - to-do-list, and TBON emails will be sent out april 17 to get our background check done etc. For insurance, I think she said we can shop around for it to upload and it can active by Aug 1 is good enough.. most of all... no mentioning of Hep C so no worries there. CPR has to one of those that expires in 2 years, not the 1 year ones. she said during orientation they will go over more about it ( i think after we know if we're accepted or not. I hope that clears up some issues. btw hesi grades... 2 chances.. they take the higher one of each section... and if its over 3 years they wont take.. meaning you can retake the hesi again time for higher grade.

@chubbyBoo so you think we should wait until we see if we are accepted to upload everything?

@Beebee10 no, I think we should upload what we can, as we go. I don't think waiting would be any helpful... she said that waiting till the deadline is not a great idea. ?

@chubbyBoo ok

so question about Castlebranch we have to pay the $30 first before we are able to upload right? I’m trying to make sure I’m doing it right. I have everything done. Blood titers, insurance, cpr, physical, etc.

Hello have anybody uploaded their immunizations to castle branch yet?

I have and the only thing I'm missing now is health insurance and BON( I think this part is from the school)

@chubbyBoo OK I have a question my results are all on like 3pages some are on the same page. Do I just upload the same page in the slots for titers thats On that page or each titer has to have its own page?
