I often wonder what the heck is life going to be like without studying? I mean I have totally reconditioned my life to the fact that I have to study everyday. It is going to feel so wierd not to have to do it. At least for the summer. I am thinking about going into the BA program at my nursing school. anyone else ever thought this?
oh by the way...............I am so nervous!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (June 5th here I come!)

Exactly! I thought I studied a lot in nursing school, but the real fun began once I actually got a job. So don't worry - you probably won't suffer from studying withdrawals for quite a while.

Pleasure reading!!! I don't know how many books I have read in the last 14months since I graduated...nice.
Remember the NCLEX is testing your critical thinking, school tested the content. If you are clueless as to the particulars, think about what should happen. ABC's (airway, breathing, circulation...A is first, but breathing is priority for you), Nursing Process (always assess first), don't pass the buck.
Hope that helps somebody.
Also- you can usually check if you passed w/in 24-48hr on your state's dept of health website for free. Look in the "search credentials" part, put your name in and VIOLA! It shows that you are an RN! (occasionally not...but we won't focus on that!)
I took my exam today...i used suzannes plan! I took 86 questions and did get my last question right so pray for me and gl to you

actually, i'm content to study for the rest of my life :). i'll just be happy when i'm taking classes for fun instead of professional reasons.
i'm sitting for the cpa exam (just activating the certifcate again, which i let expire) in another couple of months. starting mba program in january.
by far the hardest exam of my entire life was excelsior's cpne, which i recently finished. i don't think anything, including the nclex, remotely compares with that test :). at least that hurdle in behind me.
