This is not my story, but a good friend of mine was in nursing school in LA and as a student the nurses on her floor sent her to check the foley on a patient...turns out he was a VERY well endowed Media star...lol:lol2:

Well, a famous person's sisters child, and a mobster's child. A well known mobster, and singer.

Ha.. reminds me of the time I took care of a "very Important" Prisoner.. who had a big BALL and heavy CHAIN around his ankle,,, and the other leg was chained to the bed. we had to get the guard to release the chained leg but he had to drag the ball and chain with him to the bathroom.Talk about a thug thug on the floor. I also took care of a famous Hells Angel once .. who was the nicest patient I believe I ever had..6ft7 , braided hair to waist.. I actually braided his hair for him.. all his friends drove up on chopper/Harleys Parked where ever they wanted proceeded to walk into the hospital , taking flowers from any flower vase they could see and came up to our floor to visit him.. was funny to see the hysteria in some people.. most of them were VERY mean looking with black leather, hugh boots and chains hanging from pockets.. The very Hell's angels look... most were 6ft 6 and over.. and very big..could absolutely take care of themselfs...Ahh the memories of Nursing...

Ha reminds me of once taking care of a famous "Hells Angel" big big guy, someone had tried to kill... 6ft7 long braided hair... but the nicest and most modest guy I believe I had ever taken care of.. All his Motorcycle friends would come on Harley/choppers and visit needless to say they would park where ever they wanted outside , be it flower bed etc. then proceed to pick the flowers and come up to visit him.. they were all 6ft6 and over and leather pants/vests, with the chains hanging from their waists, tattoes like crazy. very scary looking but nice to the nurses and doctors, and were determined to find out who tried to "Kill " their Buddy..Ahh the memories of Nursing.....

If the administration people of HIPPA saw some of these post they would probable post back to say "stop it" or "stop it now"

That's what I was just thinking. No more details that what I've seen put out on other posts, only difference is the pt is someone famous. As long as there are more than a couple world famous *whatevers* I don't see any reason to be concerned

These discussions don't come close to violating HIPAA. No names or identifying information have been revealed.

Um......I may be wrong but Im thinking a bit too much information?
:wakeneo: Oh for goodness sake----there is NO identifying info in that post or in the poster's profile. We don't even know what part of the country they are in.Please lighten up and have fun with the thread..................As for me-I've cared for local "celebs" such as olympic athletes, politicians etc....Most of the locals did not hesitate to throw their weight around. The bigger nationally known celebs usually tried to keep a much lower profile and were way less demanding ..I've cared for the elderly father of a former court tv "talking head". A 5ft tall blond lawyer with balls the size of basket balls. She was tough to deal with. I'm a big courttv fan but I am no fan of hers....

When I was a CNA, I took care of the father of a very famous movie star from my home town. He was extremely nice and spoke regularly on the phone to his son. He still lives here(my very small hometown) while his son is in Hollywood.
