Have you ever had the nightmare..

where you are taking classes online.. You log in mid semester and find a course that somehow you are enrolled in, but never knew it? You haven't done a single assignment or test and now can't drop the class because it's too late?? AHHHHHHHHH! I was frantically trying to remember when I signed up for the class.. How did I miss it all of the times I logged in to do work for my other classes? I just kept refreshing the webpage hoping it would drop off.....

I had that one lastnight. Woke up in a full sweat.. I had to get up and log on to make sure it was only a dream.

I used to have the "old fashioned" version of that dream all the time -- in the days before online classes. In my dream, the final exam was tomorrow (or a major term paper was due) and I had stopped attending the class months ago because the class was really too hard for me. In fact, the classroom had been during the semester and I wasn't really sure where to go!

I've had that dream many, many, many time. I shudder to think of it.

Yes. Yes, I have. Oh so many times. And every time it takes me several minutes after waking up to realize it was just a dream.

LOL! It's amazing how our "OH NO - I'm Not Ready!" dreams keep pace with technology, isn't it? Back when the Earth's crust was cooling.... it was the old "naked to class" or "can't find my locker" or other sort of scenarios that formed the basis of our academic nightmares. Seems like our subconscious does a great job of upgrading all by itself.

I have very similar dreams still... and I've been out of school for four years!

I had one recently that I stopped going to class because I forgot about the class-and I was pleading with the instructor that I forgot, then I realized that I was out of school in the middle of it!

Oh my gosh, yes. This is my third semester and I have at least one online class every time and I have this nightmare every semester. Lol not fun.
