Have anyone applied for CSULB MSN Fall 2010? Have you heard anything?

I've applied for the CSULB FNP Fall 2010 program and spoke to Allison, graduate coordinator who said applicants might not be notified until as late as mid-April. Does anyone knows of anything else? Do applicants have interviews? I heard that EL-MSN applicants might.

That's wonderful Barotrauma that you found an urgent care position. I think that will greatly help you develop your clinical skills. Wow richo, FT study and FT work! More power to you. I will be working PT and going to school FT. I hate student loans, but it looks like I have no other choice. Well, I hope to meet you all in the program. *fingers crossed* I still have not heard anything. I guess another week.

I was told that the acceptance letters will be mailed on July 12th. Decisions have been made, there is an admittance list.

Yes, she apologized for the long duration and replied that I am on the admittance list. It will be mailed on July 12, but I will not celebrate until I actually receive it. I will cross my fingers for you. She have the list and she is pretty good at responding promptly. Oh and that orientation is in mid-August.

Hi blessed, just an update so i emailed her and she replied that i'm also included in the admission list but sounded like they're still unsure of how many can they "officially" accept and that they will have a definite result by july 19th week. Also, the orientation will be on 19th of august and class starts on august 30th. She said that FNP will be 5 semesters and only one day a week class either tuesday or thursday and will be $500/unit. Thats it for now. And as you said, i will not celebrate until i receive it in mail. Good luck to us all!

Hi Richo, I'm glad you posted that information. Alison, emailed me on Friday stating the same thing you mentioned and apologized for the date changes again. It looks like the university have to make the final and official decision. But I am glad we are on the list. Congrats! I hope we receive the acceptance letters soon.

I had the same response from Alison too. It seems like she tells everyone the same thing. Any more updates? It's July 19th!!! :rolleyes:
