Hello, I was thinking about ordering the Test Taking Strategies Web course by ANCC its $30 for 90 days. I was wondering has anyone taking this course and felt they have learned or it has helped this pass there FNP certification. I am taking the AANP versus the ANCC. I have test anxiety and sometimes I get questions wrong just because I fail to look at what the question is really asking of me.

I don't know of that particular test, have you tried googling reviews? I've found a lot of opinions about various things that way.
My sister highly recommends the Kahn Academy classes, all online and free. Great lessons in just about any subject, including grammar. Not trying to be snarky at all, but from your post a few English grammar lessons might help too, since for many questions the word choices lead to a correct choice.
Thank you JBudd but the Test Taking Strategies is a course not a test to help look at questions differently and help you understand what the question is really asking you. This course is offered under ANCC. I have never heard of what your sister has used. I don't think I need a grammar course just an opinion on the course as stated above. Thank you.

I took the ANCC Test Taking Strategies course before taking NP Boards. It certainly was helpful to me as far as knowing what they were looking for on the ANCC test. It helped me understand how to break down a question and analyze what they were looking for on complex questions. I can't tell you if it would have helped with the other test but I think overall it would be worth $30 if only to give you more confidence.
Thank you so much for your response! I am going to order the course it is a great price.
