Has anyone heard of Ideal Professional Institute School of Nursing?

Nursing Students School Programs

Updated:   Published

I found an online nursing school, "Ideal Professional Institute," and I can't find any reviews about it. Does anyone have any experience or hear anything about it? It is located in Miami, Florida. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

Hello, it has been a great experience so far. I was skeptical and nervous. But I'm so happy that I decided to do it. The professor is very knowledgeable and patient. He teaches and does case studies and NCLEX-style questions to prepare you for the board exam. I'm in NY, and the BON has confirmed that I can sit for NCLEX upon graduation from this program. I'm happy so far with my decision.

I found this post after signing up to the school and paying deposit.

While you are taking the NCLEX in NY, the NCLEX results are reported on the school in Florida!! All 3 RN NCLEX takers failed in 2020.

Please really look at their refund program. DO NOT pay any more money! Their NCLEX rates are horrible, and if you had a hard time on the PN NCLEX, you might need more support.

On 12/20, the school had three people take the RN  NCLEX, and they all failed.

Some of these graduates have been trying to pass the test for 3 1/2 yrs.

Those are first-time takers. The BON does not report pass scores after the first attempt. This school may have an exit exam (but it is not helping with their pass rate). The rule of thumb for passing after the first attempt is 30% pass each time.

Here are some exit exam questions posted on the internet by someone linking them to Ideal (I do not know if these were posted as real exit exam questions by Ideal).

This is even worse: they were supposed to be shut down:

Please reconsider before giving more money.

Apply into the LVN-RN program.

Of their 2019 graduates, 22% passed on the first try. Which means 78% failed.

For the LPN test:  One graduate attempted the exam in 2020 and failed. That is all that is reported to the Florida Board of Nursing today.

It isn't enjoyable to see students spend good money to attend a school where only 7% to 10% meet a licensing exam. Kinda like buying a car with the windows going up and down, the radio works, and being able to "pop" the trunk and gas cap from the driver's seat, but you can't get the motor to work to drive anywhere.

What is so sad to me is that there is so much cautionary negative info warning them. But for whatever reason, they proceed with their choice.

Is this school online? It says on campus.
