Has anyone heard of Ideal Professional Institute School of Nursing?

I found an online nursing school, "Ideal Professional Institute," and I can't find any reviews about it. Does anyone have any experience or hear anything about it? It is located in Miami, Florida. I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I went to this nursing school I'm in New York. I can sit for the NCLEX, but the NYS Board of Nursing will not issue my license because they are reviewing the school. Has anybody been in this situation before? I wonder if I can still practice in Florida if they don't issue my license.

If NYS says "no," you need to contact the FBON. It may not get you licensed in NYS, but maybe the state will realize the sham of their approved nursing programs.

Thank you! I was thinking about that, and last night, when I was doing my research, I found out their ADN program is closed that's another big issue.

I wish the FBON were more upfront about programs like this. They were put on probation in 2018.

NEED HELP! Signed up with IDEAL PROFESSIONAL INSTITUTE and completed the program Dec. 2019. All my information was sent to the NYS Board of Nursing, and I got my PIN # to take the NCLEX-PN through Pearson-Vue. Put off taking the test because of COVID-19, etc. Well, I finally passed my test on March 26, 2022. Four weeks have gone by haven't heard anything from NYS. So I decided to call the board; I was # 79 in the loop 2hrs 24 mins. On hold only to be told they hadn't received all my paperwork and had my file on storage for EDUCATION REVIEW. I GOT NO ANSWERS! Not sure if I can get my License # in Florida.

Hi,

So I was told the NYS Board of Nursing would not issue your license if you attended Ideal Professional Institute because the school is under review. What you can do you can transfer your license by endorsement to Florida.

Hi

I just went to the FBON to apply for endorsement in Florida.  Applicants must contact licensing board where their initial and active licenses are held and request verification be sent to the Florida Board of Nursing. Not sure what to do? NYS Board of Nursing is holding my file for education review!
