Has anyone heard from Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing for Fall of 2009?

Hi I applied to BHSN for fall of 2009 and I was wondering if anyone has been accepted yet. Good luck everyone!

queprec- I have been accepted but I only found out sat... so I'm still a lil unsure of everything, but I do know that all my classes transferred which is awesome.. They included that in the acceptance letter, like a list of the classes that transferred :) I took my pre-req's in New Jersey... I went to college in new jersey and then I lived there for a while after I graduated and took AP1 & 2 at a county college there..So I have yet to take any classes at Housatonic, I only have 3 non-nursing classes left to take.. micro, child dev and i think one other thing, ill prolly get them done over the summer at housatonic or norwalk(I live in norwalk) so all I have to worry about is nursing classes once I begin school!

Ahh Im keeping my fingers crossed for all of you that havent heard yet!

I was wondering if anyone who either goes to Bridgeport hospital or applied to bridgeport hospital happens to know what time the classes typically run.. Im interested in requesting to be in the night program, I'm just curious if anyone knows what time they run? or the schedule with it.. any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I justed talked to BHSN and she said 3-4wks people will know even though people like coolbean already got letters??? She ignored my direct question on people getting letters already. oh well we'll see. Something tells me I didn't get in again.

The other thing I was thinking of, regarding the letters already going out.. Is that on my letter it requires that I let them know within 10 days if I plan to attend school in the fall, which requires a 150$ deposit. So that may be why some are delayed.. they may have sent out like 50 letters or something and are trying to get an idea of how many of those people are willing to put down a deposit before they send out another 50 letters. We only have 10 days (so that would be the 16th).. So by the 18th they might be sending out their 2nd bulk of letters you know? Who knows how they do it you know.. but I def wouldnt assume it means you didnt get in...I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Yes I received an acceptance letter today.

A friend of mine heard mid February and she got it also.

Congratulations!! Mattfd37, I got 4-6 weeks to go when I called. hahaha. Looks like I'm in the same boat.

When I called mid February they told me 4-6 weeks and it was 4 weeks.

Have patience. It will come.

Norwalk is not letting people know until end of April/May. I received my letter from Bridgeport March 11 and was accepted. See you all in September. My TEAS was 86 and I have all prereqs done. Good luck to all of you.

does anyone know what time the classes run, if I was to do the night program? (at bridgeport)

I heard 4pm start to 10 or 11pm

But part time nights is only available the first semester.

In May you need to switch to days.

geeeeshhh that runsss late!! But it's still a good thing.. Thanks so much! I heard it's only for the first year, but if i choose to do that at least i'll be able to make some money for the first year.. I put in the request for night time as of now.. I may request to change it in the summer back to day's.. Thanks for the response.

I was happy to get my acceptance letter on March 5th, considering it was the only school i wanted to go/applied too. If anyone was wondering who is still waiting for a letter, i took my TEAS on Jan. 17th
