Has anyone here gotten into nursing school with a 'B' in Anatomy?

I still have the final to take, but sincerely don't think it will bring me up enough. I have an 85 in the class. :(

Am I even going to be able to get in to school?

OP: Most schools look at much more than a grade in a particular class! Good luck on NS... it is an awesome journey!!

Im pretty sure i got a B when i took anatomy in high school. For the School i am taking my nursing classes you need a C

I got a B+ in A&P I and I know others in my program who have gotten B's. Our program is very competitive and all students basically have 3.5's or higher so its possible. That B+ was the only non-A grade I had so I still maintained a very high GPA. (3.9 and still going strong!)

My schools's nursing program was very competitive too; I got A's in most of my pre-reqs like A&P...........their minimum standards were C's for pre-req classes, BUT I know some students that were asked to retake the classes if they got anything lower than a B in A&P...........

u didn't put me on the spot or anything like that. i do have a 4.0 GPA (not that i'm bragging about it) but i can't change what's in the system. u asked if it's possible and i'm telling u it is but if u already have it in mind that it's impossible, my effort to convince u will be worthless. or maybe i'm not being clear enough on my part, if that's the case, well then i think it would be best to seek ur answers from someone capable of explaining in the simplest of terms.

i should answer other questions now.

you dont have a 4.0. unless you got those B's taken off your transcript. it is IMPOSSIBLE in any school. period. no offense.

lol amazing i had bb in chem and bio im taking anatomy and micro and english.. so i know i need to do good.. most ppl ive seen accepted dont have 3.5 and im in ca.. its a lottery based program.. so with all these 3.7-40 being thrown out guess i really need to honker down n study my a@@ for 4mnths.. lol.. gl to all you guys/gals i really think my grades will suffer since im trying to finish this faster.. but ill be happy with a 3.0+ im pretty sure ill get in SOMEWHERE.. i also hear VEGAS is quite easy to get into . even the BSN program =0 got some new grads that work here but graduated from there
