Hello I have been accepted to Roxbrough hospital school of nursing, CCP and Frankford. I am trying to make up my mind which one to go to. I need some input from current or former students, thanks

I'm currently at CCP taking my last pre-req (Biochem) and was also accepted to their Nursing Program but decided to go to Abington which was my first choice. I've heard from other students in the Nursing Program there that it's very disorganized and that people aren't really friendly about explaining things when you don't understand. The doc I work for operates at Rox and he says that he's heard great things about their Nursing Program.
Thanks nurse2b2008,
I sent in a deposit to hold my sit at RMH but then I received an acceptance letter from CCP. At one point CCP was my first choice but then I went to RMH school of nursing's open house and I like their program better. I have not heard good things about Frankford.
Congratulations on your acceptance to Abingtion I heard that it is a very good school. When do you start?
Another question when you received your acceptance letter for CCP did you send back the card stating that you would not accept the sit or did you just not respond?
Caremon,
I start at Abington in late August. I did send the card back to CCP rejecting the acceptance along with a typed and signed letter stating why.
Best of luck in the program that you choose!
Thanks.

I am a nursing student at CCP, due to graduate May 5th this year. We have a great program here. You have to beware on people at the school who claim to be in the program and say things about it. Very organized actually. But pick whats best for you. If you have any questions I am here
I heard CCP has a great program but by the time I received the acceptance letter I had already sent RMH school my 200.00 sit fee and I am too poor to loose 200.00 bucks. Hopefully I made the right choice.

For those of accepted into CCP's program, what was your score on the whole 10 pt scale???? And also the average score of fellow members of the program??
I am currently in the limbo phase where I am sitting on 7 pts, and waiting to be told that I didn't get in...or does this ease me in??????

I have a question regarding RMH....I know it is not a adn program but a diploma program, I have heard that some hospitals will not hire you if you have a diploma, is this true? is so does anyone know what hospital this is? I am trying to make up my mind about RMH and would love any info you guys can give me.
Thanks

You will get a job with a diploma. RMH students have job offers before they graduate. RMH is accredited and with your pre-reqs and the credit hours from RMH that are transferable all you need is a few more classes at CCP or another school after RMH for your associates degree then another school for your BSN. Soon everyone will need a BSN anyway.

where did you go and how did you like it? also what did you score on each one of the test, teas and the allied health. How long did it take to find out if you got accepted to both.
