hello, I have a few questions. My sister went to ccp nursing she loved it. But I hear you need very high gpa and allied health test. However I know persons who scored the bare minimum on the aht and had a low gpa and got in. What are your comments?

I am a nursing student at CCP, due to graduate May 5th this year. We have a great program here. You have to beware on people at the school who claim to be in the program and say things about it. Very organized actually. But pick whats best for you. If you have any questions I am here

did you get into ccp nursing? what did you score on the aht? When did you get your acceptance letter?

For those of accepted into CCP's program, what was your score on the whole 10 pt scale???? And also the average score of fellow members of the program??

I am currently in the limbo phase where I am sitting on 7 pts, and waiting to be told that I didn't get in...or does this ease me in??????

CCP does not have an evening or weekend program.

Raquel - I had a 26.5 on the AHT, and received my letter mid-february (2007).

Thats great. I think the higher aht scores get letters sent out first. The the remainding seats are picked after.

A 26.5 is well above average for a CCP Allied Health Test result. Can you offer any pointers or test tips/info?

dnorris, I had a 23.? and i also got my letter in february. However, a friend of mine with a total of 7pts -i had 9- got her letter in the beginning of feb. The test is on reading comprehension-you read a few paragraphs and then answer questions about what yoiu read. Theres a few of these. The next section is math-question on adding and subtracting decimals and fractions. Some percentage questions. also some questions on area of square. stuff like that, nothing too involved. And the last section is grammar. There are like 30 sentences and each sentence has like 2 things underlined and you need to decide if what is underlined is correct or incorrect. Pretty easy stuff like capitalization and commas. To prepare I bought a nursing entrance exam practice book at barnes and nobels and studied that.

Does CCP have an evening weekend program option. I keep hearing they do, but there's nothing in the website that makes mention of this.

This is a pretty old post, but has anyone been accepted to Roxborough SON to begin this summer of 2011, Class of 2013?? I am really hoping to meet other students who will be attending there this year or better yet, those who have already went to that school. I would like to get some feedback regarding the faculty, the program, and how it really it is....
