  1. Hello. I'm reading thrpugh posts to get info on Drexel's 24 month accelerated BSN program. I see that you attended this program. Can you tell me if it's possible to work full time while in this program. What times during the week are your classes. I recently found out they canceled the evening/weekend option and will now only have the weekday/every other weekend option. I need to work as I have a family to support. Thanks advance for your response.
  2. Hello. Can you share your experience with the 24 month program. I have a Bach and master in public health and want to apply to the program. Do you also work full time? Anything you could share would be greatly appreciated.
  3. Hello. I'm a second degree holder looking to apply to Drexel's 24 month ACE nursing program. Are you currently in the program and if so, is it the 11 or 24 month option?
  4. Yes, Gwynedd's weekend nursing program is for those with a bachelors degree.
  5. Yes, Gwynedd's weekend nursing program is for those with a bachelors degree, the program starts Aug. 22nd this fall semester.
  6. It's okay, I was wait listed as well, but I also ended up just going to Gwynedd-Mercy's Weekend Nursing program. This works better for me since I just started a new job, so classes won;t interfere with it. In the end, school is all about what yiou make it. My friend just graduated in May from Gwynedd and passed her boards on the first try, so I'm excited.
  7. Does CCP have an evening weekend program option. I keep hearing they do, but there's nothing in the website that makes mention of this.
  8. I was accepted ino GMC weekend nursing program for the Fall 2009 semester. I'm excited and nervous. I know I'll have to enjoy my summer to get ready to buckle down for fall. My only concern is financial aid. I have a Master's degree and have used stafford loan to pay for most of my schooling. How's the financial aid, do they offer grants or scholarships?
  9. Jefferson doesn not have an evening/weekend program. They only offer partime for their MSN.
  10. You can try Gwynedd mercy, They are still accepting applications and you don;t have to have your prereqs completed because you can complete during the summer time.
  11. Gwynedd Mercy has a 2 year weekend program (Sat/Sun) if you already have a bachelor's degree in any field. LaSalle University also has an evening/weekend program, but lots or prereqs IMO. You should look on the board and print out the NCLEX scores list for PA, this list contains all approved programs for nursing, and go from there. That's what I did. I too am looking for an evening/weekend program, I've applied to both Abington and Gwynedd-Mercy.
  12. Thanks for your feedback. Do you feel the clinicals were helpful in preparing you to learn the gist of entry level nursing
  13. Congrats! If you don't mind me asking, did you also finish all of your prereqs before you applied?
  14. You should receive a letter. I have 4 classs left, and I scored a 75 on my TEAS exam. I have a plan to finish all my classes if I were selected, but I figured I'd just apply and see what happens, I didn't get an interview. I actually think because of the classes I have left I might not be selected compard to someone who has everything completed. What did you get on your exam?
  15. I'm in the same position as you, I also applied to the evening/weekend program. I still have a few prereqs. to complete, so I'm hoping I can be accepted provisionally. Have you finished all your prereqs? Also, for regular decision, it says that decisions are made on or before Feb. 15th, so we still hav some time.
