Has anybody felt like they know they pass

I just wanted to know if there is one person out there that just knew that they had past the nclex before getting their results back?

I will tell you that I felt good at the end of the NCLEX, I just took it today. I have to admit that I have started to panic since that point. I'm not sure anyone feels totally confident about their exam. I still have wait for my results.

I felt pretty confident when I finished the exam and walked out.....it took me several tries to type my credit card number in correctly for my results 48 hours later though because my hands were shaking and I had barely slept. That confidence definitely waned over the 2 days following the test, but I had passed.

I took my test in 55 minutes and it shut off @ 75. When I walked out of there, I thought, "Well, I think I passed."

Then Dad (who is a nurse) and I went over the test on the 2 1/2 hour drive back home and then I thought I failed it. Such a bad idea. Especially since you can't change anything by worrying.

Story end: I passed. Found out a day and a half later since my BON posted it online.

p.s. Dad talked to someone at work who used to work on the NCLEX statistics and set up the pass/fail levels and said that only a very small percentage of people fail @ 75. Wish I had known that before! She said that the computer would probably give you until 80 questions if you were doing that bad.

my computer shut down at 75 and i had more than 10 SATA, after taking the exam for 90 minutes, i'm positive about the outcome.. and luckily, I passed, praise GOd for He answered my prayers... and also to MOther of Perpetual Help, St. Jude, St. Catherine of Sienna and St. Joseph of Cupertino which I recite the prayer everyday and the Holy ROsary as well...

Had a very similar experience. :) I really tried to slow down and not rush through it, but there I was, done in less than an hour with 75 questions. I felt very confident while testing and when I walked out of there, but as the hours spun out, I started to wonder. LOL. Spend the next day and a half worrying! All my coworkers and allnurses peeps assured me that it was not likely/statistically improbable that I failed with 75 questions, and they were right. Thank goodness! I was so happy when the Virginia BON updated their database and my name was there.

Like others have said I got 75 questions done in about an hour so I was sure that I had passed. It was nice to get the official results though.

For my LPN I knew I had passed. I walked out with confidence. Till I got in my car. Then I remembered someone telling me that everyone who comes out of taking their boards who feels like they passed are the ones who failed. Well, it started messing with me and an hour later ( or something like that ) I was 100% sure I had failed. I never even looked at the quick results, but a week or 2 later I got my license.:D This time for my RN, I was sure I did real real bad, 45 minutes and 75 questions. Most of my questions were those darn select all that apply!:devil: I really don't care for those questions. But, I passed my NCLEX-RN and this time I looked at the quick results.:smokin:
