Harris County Hospital District nurse intern position is up from March 1st through the 28th.
I got an email receipt this morning - thank you! Also, Plover1, if you are already an RN and looking for work to keep your license up, I was at a Red Cross preso last week and they said they love for licensed RNs to volunteer (as RNs) at the VA hospital in the Med Ctr to provide nursing care. They said specifically it is a great deal for graduating RNs still looking for work and needing hospital experience....

Wondering if anyone who went through the process last year can give us some insight. I do not have a BSN and have applied second year in a row. I got invited to the info session last year but couldn't make so my application was rejected. I am wondering if the info session serves a purpose in getting you hired or if it is a massive information session that does not impact whether they hire you or not. While out in California, i would attend information sessions where several thousand other new grads would attend and it would be a massive 'here is info about our hospital, but we dont have a job for you' type get together. Really hope I get hired onto the county always wanted to work there. Anyone else attending the march 31st session? I know last year they had two info session about a month apart........
