Harford Community College Nursing Students

Published

Hi, everyone! I just found out a few days ago that I was accepted into Harford's nursing program! First day is May 16th! Just wanted to connect with any others who are attending Harford this summer or fall. I will be in the evening/weekend program, clinicals on Saturdays. :)

I thought the shortage was over...and coffee sounds like a good idea.

Sounds perfect. I get off of work at 5 so anytime after that works for me. We could go to the Starbuck right on Joppa and Bel Air. Let me know when you're free!!!

Great...I'll definitely keep in touch.

I know these posts are old, but I was wondering if you have ANY tips for pre nursing students. How did you pass all your sciences with As? A & P tips? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Please help because I'm slightly intimidated.

Hi Msstekaboo,

I know that this thread is old and by now you have probably completed your nursing program but I was hoping that you could give me some feedback/ advice. I am interested in nursing and have completed the prereqs but not the TEAS. I was contemplating CCBC evening/ weekend program since I work full time during the daytime and also have two young ones. But I noticed that you mentioned Harford accelerated nursing program and i wanted to find out more information. How do you like the program? What is the typical semester like? Are you able to work and attend classes? which days do you have clinicals? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
