CCBC Fall 2014 RN program
Hi Jen, Congratulations on passing the TEAS! I am scheduled to take it on March 1st and I am also planning to apply to CCBC evening program for Fall 2014. I am extremeley nervous because I haven't been to school in a while and I am also very weak when it comes to Math and will need to review my science material. If you don't mind, do you have any tips for taking the TEAS to help me score better? Or any suggested study material? What did you find helped you the best in terms of preparing? Please let me know. Thanks,

Harford Community College Nursing Students
Hi Msstekaboo, I know that this thread is old and by now you have probably completed your nursing program but I was hoping that you could give me some feedback/ advice. I am interested in nursing and have completed the prereqs but not the TEAS. I was contemplating CCBC evening/ weekend program since I work full time during the daytime and also have two young ones. But I noticed that you mentioned Harford accelerated nursing program and i wanted to find out more information. How do you like the program? What is the typical semester like? Are you able to work and attend classes? which days do you have clinicals? Any information you can give me would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Seemingly pointless classes
livelearngrow, I'm sorry I didn't realize that you had responded with some recommendations for A&P. Thanks a lot. For the fall semester I see DR. Iweha has a lab that I can take, but I don't see any online lectures being taught by him. For the online lectures I see Joanne Settel. Have you heard of her? If so, how is she?

Seemingly pointless classes
That is awesome. Congratulations to you. I know you must be glad you stuck with the course despite the professor. Well, have you taken A&P as yet? And if so do you have any recommendations? Thanks a lot.

Seemingly pointless classes
That's just sad that just about EVERYONE has e terrible experience with this teacher yet she continues to be able to teach at BCCC without adjusting her teaching style. She just seems to have no regard for the student. She does not promote a healthy learning environment and it's difficult trying to learn the material when you're so worried about meeting her inconsistent deadlines and expectations. Teachers like her really discourage students and can turn away great candidates from even applying to BCCC. Anyway, thankfully we survived her course and were able to pass. Does anyone know any good teachers for A&P at BCCC? Due to my schedule I have to take that course online and I just want to make sure I at least have a good teacher. Thanks in advance for any help.

Seemingly pointless classes
Hi, I took a Psych course last year at BCCC and I know this seems a bit strange but just from reading your feedback that you got from your professor makes me almost SURE that's that same professor I had. Dr. ******. She was just unusually harsh in her feedback, very unorganized, did not make herself available or approachable to students and just generally unhelpful. All the traits that you would NOT want in a professor. Anyway, good luck in your studies, I hope you did well in the course.
