One of the many things I am thankful for is the advice and inspiration that I have received from members on this website. I've had a stressful 3 weeks between taking NCLEX, finding out i passed, making a resume, and filling out job applications and a going on a job interview. Thank you everybody!

I hope everyone has a wonderful thanksgiving and eat way do much today!

In the world of nursing, I'm thankful for graduating with my BSN after 5 years, with having a pregnancy and newborn in there, passing boards after studying my rear off, having a job before graduation, in the unit I wanted to work in. I work for an awesome company that pays well considering the area, counted in my time as a SNA, so I'll have a hefty raise right before student loans are due. Part of my sign on bonus comes next week, in time for Christmas. My coworkers are awesome. I was fortunate enough to have co-workers that have grown children that live far away to take the more "important" holidays, and I just need to work New Years Eve and New Years Day this year. With having a 3 yr old, this is great. For the most part, my patients have been awesome and I haven't had anything too stressful in my "new" period. It seems that I've learned more in the last 6 months on the job than the years in nursing school.

Things couldn't have worked out better this year, and I'm so thankful for it.

Happy Thanksgiving all. Thanks to all on the site for their words of wisdom :-) Very helpful place to visit.

I give my thanks for allnurses too! You have supported me through the infancy of my education and beyond. I am able to ask for guidance, unload my woes, and not only receive support, but provide some too. :hrnsmlys: ~Ivanna
