I had posted about two weeks ago about how I had landed an interview for a per diem LDRP RN position. That interview was last week, and this Monday they had me come in for a job shadow.

I received an email this afternoon from HR saying that they'd be calling next week to discuss a job offer after they come back from the long holiday weekend! And that they were writing because they didn't want to keep me waiting!

I am over the moon excited! I am still a relatively new RN...and I've been working my way toward L&D/Mom baby since my last year of school. Now it all has finally paid off! WHOO HOO!

While in school I did my externship/immersion experience in L&D. I also took a week long course to become certified as a lactation counselor (not consultant-but the credits/hours I earned can be later used to get my IBCLC if I so wish). I also am NRP certified and a member of AWHONN.

congrats!!! and add me to the list! ill be starting hopefully at rhe end of july maybe mid august depending on if my current boss approves me to transfer sooner rather than later (they have the right to keep you for up to 30 days). super excited! this has been my dream since i started school in 05!
