What do you use to keep your hands soft and pretty?
What about hardners and other products for your fingernails and cuticles?

Neutrogena hand or foot cream. The ingredients are different, but they seem to work equally well, so I use them interchangeably (sp?) :). I think they have a new product that is supposed to work well without the greasy feeling, but I haven't tried it.

I swear by Elon Nail Conditioner. It's 100% lanolin and is great for your nails and nail beds. My local grocery store pharmacy special orders it for me. Here's a link to a site that carries it:

I get the tube rather than the jar because you get more product for the same $$.

A & D ointment. It smells bad but does the trick, and a tube that's about two dollars will last a really long time. Like years maybe. I use it a couple of times a week.

I have a few products I LOVE. One is Melaleuca Renew. Another is Beauty Control healing hand cream.
Thanks for the ideas, keep them coming.

Like Peachpie, I discovered GoldBond lotion and it is wonderful!
In the winter my skin will sometimes crack around the knuckles. I have found that liquid band aid is a lifesaver for protecting the wound and it won't wash off easily.

I pay a manicurist a hefty sum....but dang it!! I am worth it!! hehehe!
I like to use nivea at night....and sometimes I use this creme that is used for hoof care (no kidding) for horses....it keeps the nail beds hardened prevents splitting....I get it at Walmart....about $2 for a small jar....a little goes a long ways....smells like almonds and cherries...
I also like a little vit. E oil from walgreens....and use that reg. for my cuticles....olive oil works too...here's to soft hands....
