Hairstylist to nursing

Hello, are there any hairstylist out there that is going to school as a nurse. If you made this change did you still work as an stylist, while attending school? If so how did you work school around your clients. Im having a hard time myself trying to do both.

I was a hair dresser for 8 years. I worked part time after my oldest was born, 3 days a week. I still worked those 3 days while I did prereqs. Then I went down to only Saturdays after my twins were born and I was working a few nights a week as a waitress as well. Once my school schedule became more intense, I left the salon because my schedule at the restaurant could be more flexible than at the salon. It was really hard to leave. I loved it and I loved my clients, but I had to do what was best to get through school.

I got to the point where I hated doing hair....sold my biz, walked out the door and haven't looked back. I have 2 part time jobs in healthcare and doing nursing school full time.

I was a cosmetologist for 11 years, SAHM for last 7 years and I am proud to say in my first semester of nursing school. I do not miss being a hairstylist and looking forward to becoming an RN in the future. Can you work part time? Nursing school is demanding.

YES I CAN WORK FULL TIME, I KIND OF FEEL LIKE MY CLIENTS WILL FALL OFF ALOT, AND THEN I WOULD JUST BE WORKINGB ONLY TO PAY BOOTH RENT, I HAVE TO FIGURE OUT HOW I WOULD SCHEUDULE MY CLIENTS...:uhoh3::confused:
