Does Hackensack have a penion plan for their nurses???? Not a 403B/401, a monthly for life pension that you get when you retire.
How many weeks vacation, sick days, etc. also do you get???
Do you get sick time buy back???
What kind of healthcare insurance???? Do you have to pay into it???

Hi,
I am considering a job at Hackensack UMC too. Can you please elaborate on the benefits package also? 401K, dental etc.
Thank you kindly.

So you get $29/hr base plus $4 for working the 3-11 shift? What kinds of positions do they have for new graduates? I heard it is a nice place to work.
Thanks!
Oops...I just found the answer sorry....but what kind of positions do they offer new grads? I wanted to go to HR today to see but it was closed.

This is all very helpful information! I am starting an accelerated BSN program this summer and am looking forward to being an RN. Daiseesc, I work at NYU Medical Center now, but in Psychiatry Research. How do you like being a nurse there? Do they offer to pay for your BSN education if you commit to two years of working there? Thanks!
